The TA-10 uses RFID cards or fobs to clock employees in/out cards or fobs are presented to the TA-10 and are read between 2 - 5cm away an audible bleep and message is sounded to acknowledge reading.

The TA-10 is built on an embedded Linux platform for reliability and functionality. Communication to the TA-10 is via 10/100mB Ethernet port. If you need the TA-10 to be completely standalone then clocking data can be collected onto a USB memory stick and then transferred into the software so no data cabling is required for this configuration simply plug the USB memory stick into the USB port located on the side of the TA-10 select download Attendance Log from the menu and all clocking data is transferred to the memory stick and with such a large transaction storage space several weeks of clocking data can be collected in one go if you wish.

A tuff poly dome keypad is used with ability to setup an employee query key to look back at the employee clocking's for the week.

As well as an audible beep there is also speech announcements saying ‘thank you’ if verified OK or ‘please try again’ if not recognised. There are other voice announcements to say when clock is full etc.

The ZK Time software that is supplied with the TA-10 is a full version of the software that enables you to setup features within the TA-10, enter employee details, create shift patterns, manually amend clocking’s for people who forgot to clock and many more features.

Report generating is also built into the software and the ability to export into many different formats such as Excel or PDF.
